RMEC was started as Rocky Mountain Environmental Consultants, L.L.C. in May of 2001 to provide full-service occupational and environmental health consulting services to private, government and public sector clients. In January of 2005, RMEC was converted to RMEC Environmental, Inc. Since its inception, RMEC's highest priority is providing practical and cost-effective solutions to occupational and environmental safety and health problems. RMEC is experienced in all aspects of regulatory compliance consulting, health hazard evaluations, environmental toxicology, risk assessment, waste management and indoor air quality evaluations. The RMEC Management Team

RMEC is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of occupational and environmental health professionals. The founding partners of RMEC have advanced degrees, board certifications as Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIHs) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and possess over 30 combined years of professional experience. RMEC's founding members and senior staff members are active in academic programs and various professional organizations, which keeps RMEC in touch with the highest caliber of occupational and environmental health professionals.

RMEC's professionals have relevant experience in performing environmental and occupation health and safety consulting services at commercial properties, manufacturing facilities, petroleum terminals and refineries, mining and mineral processing sites, Superfund sites, RCRA facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, landfills, UST sites, radioactive and mixed waste sites, pharmaceutical manufacturing and military facilities. Our staff is knowledgeable in regulations pertaining to OSHA, EPA, RCRA, CERCLA, SARA, CWA, NEPA, NRC, DOE, MSHA and appropriate state and local environmental regulatory agencies.

Frank DeRosso, MSPH, CIH
Senior Scientist, President

Mr. DeRosso has over 22-years of professional experience, holds a Masters of Science in Public Health (Industrial Hygiene) and is certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene (CIH). Mr. DeRosso has 19-years of experience in providing industrial hygiene, safety and health consulting for a variety of clients throughout the west. Mr. DeRosso is currently an instructor in the University of Utah's Public Health Program. Mr. DeRosso's specialty areas include:

Daryl Hancock, CHMM
Project Manager, Vice President

Mr. Hancock has over 11-years of professional experience and holds Bachelors of Science degrees in Environmental Biology and Public Health with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene and is certified by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management as a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. Prior to co-founding RMEC, Mr. Hancock was the Environmental Manager for Wasatch Constructors on the I-15 Reconstruction Project in Salt Lake City, Utah. The I-15 Reconstruction Project was a $1.5 billion highway reconstruction project and Mr. Hancock was responsible for directing all aspects of the construction contractor's environmental compliance, hazardous material remediation and industrial hygiene programs. Mr. Hancock's specialty areas include:
